Our Church family gathers in the town of Harrisburg, Oregon. Our little town is nestled on the banks of the Willamette River, a community of 4000+ people in the "grass seed capital of the world" (Linn County, Oregon). The town is agricultural in flavor, but we also have many folks who commute to work in Eugene or the Corvallis/Albany areas. We're an hour from the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains. Portland is 2 hrs north, the California border is 3-4 hours south, and Bend is 3 hours east. We live in a great place to work, serve, raise families, live and enjoy God's great outdoors!
We are a family of God's people:
that means we are old and young,
all of us learning to recognize our propensity to run from God (sin), accept God's love, grace and pursuit of us, and see more and more what it truly means to love and live God's way without the confusion of trying to earn God's favor.
YOU are welcome here with us!
Currently our only "in person" Worship Celebrations happen on
Sunday Mornings at 10:30am in the Activity Center.
This time is when we gather together to worship and praise the Lord in a bigger group. Make plans to join us for this gathering that features inspiring praise and worship through music, warm fellowship, prayer together, celebration of The Lord's Supper (Communion) and a message from the Bible that is relevant to your life.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH is available for kids K-5. They will be dismissed from the service at the sermon time. Pre-schoolers are welcome with Parent or Adult accompaniment.
(We are limited now only by social distancing and masking rules as outlined in current COVID guidelines by the State of Oregon with regards to Linn County.)
LIVE STREAM of our Sunday Worship gathering can be watched below on this section of our website and is also available on the Harrisburg Christian Church Facebook page and YouTube Channel starting at 10:30am every Sunday morning. We encourage you to log in on Facebook and interact with the HCC family in the Livestream chat as well.

"THE WAY OF JESUS"
Our primary goal as followers of Jesus is learning to live in a constant state of connection to Him, led by the Holy Spirit. This is how we are able to be with Jesus, our Rabbi, our Teacher. We must invite Him into every moment and learn to always be in two places at once - at home and with Jesus, at work and with Jesus, on your commute and with Jesus, at school and with Jesus. Bring His presence into the routine of your daily life. But how do we accomplish that in the chaos of this complicated, digital world? It’s pretty straightforward: to experience the life of Jesus, we must adopt the lifestyle of Jesus. We hope this series of SUNDAY WORSHIP BIBLE MESSAGES will help us do just that: to live the way of Jesus.

Quote of the Day
"My central claim is that we become like Christ by doing one thing - by following Him in the overall style of life He chose for Himself. If we have faith in Christ, we must believe that He knew how to live. We can, through faith and grace, become like Christ by practicing the types of activities He engaged in, by arranging our whole lives around the activities He Himself practiced in order to remain constantly at home in the fellowship of the Father.” - Dallas Willard
Verse of the Day
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
