SUMMER SUNDAY BIBLE MESSAGE SERIES
Our Church family gathers in the town of Harrisburg, Oregon. Our little town is nestled on the banks of the Willamette River, a community of 4000+ people in the "grass seed capital of the world" (Linn County, Oregon). The town is agricultural in flavor, but we also have many folks who commute to work in Eugene or the Corvallis/Albany areas. We're an hour from the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains. Portland is 2 hrs north, the California border is 3-4 hours south, and Bend is 3 hours east. We live in a great place to work, serve, raise families, live and enjoy God's great outdoors!
We are a family of God's people:
that means we are old and young,
all of us learning to recognize our propensity to run from God (sin), accept God's love, grace and pursuit of us, and see more and more what it truly means to love and live God's way without the confusion of trying to earn God's favor.
YOU are welcome here with us!
Currently our only "in person" Worship Celebrations happen on
Sunday Mornings at 10:30am in the Activity Center.
This time is when we gather together to worship and praise the Lord in a bigger group. Make plans to join us for this gathering that features inspiring praise and worship through music, warm fellowship, prayer together, celebration of The Lord's Supper (Communion) and a message from the Bible that is relevant to your life.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH is available for kids Age 3 thru grade 5. They will be dismissed from Worship to their age-group Adult leaders and spaces.
NURSERY CARE for infants & toddlers through age 2 is available in our Nursery Room from the beginning of Sunday Morning WORSHIP at 10:30am and also at 9:00am for Young Marrieds LIFE GROUP.
LIVE STREAM of our Sunday Worship gathering can be watched below on this section of our website and is also available on the Harrisburg Christian Church Facebook page and YouTube Channel starting at 10:30am every Sunday morning. We encourage you to log in on Facebook and interact with the HCC family in the Livestream chat as well.

BIBLE MESSAGE SERIES
NEW SUMMER Sunday SERIES!
"ACTS: LIFE IN THE SPIRIT!"
Jesus' first followers are transformed from men and women deeply mourning His death, into a band of triumphant believers in a resurrected Lord! They are filled with His Holy Spirit; ready and willing to share the "good news" of Jesus, the Messiah, come to reconcile the world with the Creator!
The Book of Acts, penned by Jesus' follower, Luke, is the account of the early churches beginnings. It is full of their vibrant, incredible lives and experiences that centered on serving and loving the Lord and all people.
We hope this series of SUNDAY WORSHIP BIBLE MESSAGES will help us to live the way of Jesus with passion like these early believers!

QUOTE of the Month
“As the spectacular dimensions of this story slowly (or suddenly) dawn upon us, we could easily become enthusiastic spectators, and then let it go at that - become admirers of Jesus, generous with our oohs and ahs, and in our better moments inspired to imitate Him.
It is Luke's task in the Book of Acts, to prevent that, to prevent us from becoming mere spectators to Jesus, just fans of the Message of the Gospel.”
- Eugene Peterson -
VERSE of the Month
ACTS 4:32-33 (The Message)
The whole congregation of believers was united as one - one heart, one mind! They didn't even claim owner-ship of their own possessions. No one said "That's mine; you can't have it." They shared everything. The apostles gave powerful witness to the resurrection of the Master, Jesus, and grace was on all of them."
