WE LOVE KIDS AT HCC!

We want children to...

*DISCOVER who GOD is, and who THEY are as HIS Child!

Recognizing that they are designed by a loving God, unique, special, male and female, to live in relationship with their Creator.

*GROW IN THEIR RELATIONSHIPS with God, His family the church, their own family, friends, and all people in the world He created.

*LEARN TO FOLLOW THE WAY OF JESUS through:

- Scripture learning & memorizing

- Talking with God in Prayer

- Music & Praise as expressions of love and gratitude

- Age appropriate spiritual learning with goal of eventual commitment & Baptism into a lifelong walk with their Savior and Lord!

*ENGAGEMENT in opportunities to learn and participate by

- Serving others - Leading & following

- Being with others in Small Groups

*LOVE THEIR NEIGHBORS who are next door and around the world! To respect and value all people and be willing to sharing the Good News of Jesus as a priority of life!

We want to support parents as the primary transmitters of faith to their children. PARENTS are the most influential agents God uses to share the grace and love of Jesus in a child's life.

The HCC family is a help and support to that great responsibility of all parents/guardians of children.

KIDS ON SUNDAY MORNING WITH HCC!

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

9:00am EARLY WORSHIP Abbreviated program for kids 3yrs through Gr. 5 combined

10:30am LATE WORSHIP Kids 3 years old through Grade 5 are dismissed from Late Morning Worship at Sermon time to their own age-level times of learning, praise, and worship. Every other Sunday features singing and music for the time together!

NURSERY & TODDLERS

9:00am Early Worship and 10:30am Late Worship

Loving and safe care by attendants for newborns in our new "babies" room! We also have a special space for Nursing Mommies.

Toddlers through age 2 are cared for and taught about God's love the entire Sunday morning.

KIDS & FAMILY EVENTS

There are some special activities planned for children and their families coming up with HCC! Watch for more information to come on the next fun event...

WE HAVE A VOLUNTEER STAFF who LOVE the Lord & kids!

They serve on a rotating basis on Sunday mornings and other times we have Children's programs. Our Children's Ministry workers receive training in safety measures, child development, class management, and how to teach the truths of the Bible to kiddos. We appreciate their loving and heartfelt service to our little ones and the Lord!

For the safety and peace of mind of our children and families, all Children's workers at HCC have been through background checks at the local and national level. We also have protocol for checking children "in and out" of our Children's Ministry areas, and for emergency situations both with medical and safety concerns.

She is a seasoned educator of 25+ years in Elementary Education, named Oregon Small Schools Teacher of the Year, and a woman who loves kiddos and their families with great enthusiasm and loves to share Jesus in word and deed so that little and big hearts can hear and understand God's love for them.

(Tessi currently teaches First Grade at Harrisburg Elementary School, so is not available during the school day hours.)
