BACK ON PURPOSE...
The summer season is drawing to a close. School will begin for students, the camping vacation gear is packed away for next year, farmers are "makin' dirt" as they prepare the fields for winter. The garden is ripe with corn, melons, and apples are on the way! Soon the leaves will begin to turn the glorious colors of autumn.
And it's back to "the routine" for most of us.
It is also time to get back to making the Lord the center of that routine, serving and loving Him as the main purpose of our day!
Getting back to our church family is an important part of helping us know God, grow in our faith, and encourages each of us as we deal with life and all it's stress.
And it's time for all of us to share that love and faith in God with others, both here in our families, neighborhoods, and around the globe!
Come join us!
We are committed to learning what it means to
Reach Up! Grow Together! Reach Out!
Let's get
BACK ON PURPOSE!
WELCOME...
We are located in beautiful
HARRISBURG, OREGON!
Nestled on the banks of the Willamette River, we are a community of 4000+ people who live in the "grass seed capital of the world": Linn County, Oregon. Though agricultural in flavor, we have many
folks who commute to their employment in Eugene or the Corvallis/Albany areas. So that means there are Oregon Duck and Oregon State Beaver fans in this 'berg! We are just about an hour from the Pacific Ocean beaches and the same to the Cascade Mountains. Portland Metro area is about 2 hours north on I-5, the California border is about 3-4 hours south, and Central Oregon (Bend area) about a 3 hour drive east. We live in a great place to work, serve others, raise families, live and enjoy God's great outdoors.

Quote of the Day
"Life major pursuit is not
knowing self...
but knowing GOD.
Unless GOD is the major pursuit of our lives, all other pursuits are dead-end streets,
including trying to know ourselves!"

Verse of the Day
"For HE (God) chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.
In love HE predestined us to be adopted
as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will -
to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us
in the One He loves."
Ephesians 1:4-6 |
